Privacy Policy

LPB Career AI is a private career-management application operated by SCB Media Entertainment. This policy explains how information is handled when an authorized user uses the application or connects a LinkedIn account.
Information we collect
- LinkedIn information: only information authorized through LinkedIn OAuth and permitted by the approved scopes, which may include an account identifier, name, profile details, profile image, and email address.
- Career information: resumes, professional history, job preferences, saved opportunities, application documents, pipeline status, notes, and related research entered or generated for the authorized user.
- Technical information: authentication cookies, security records, timestamps, and limited operational logs needed to protect and maintain the application.
How we use information
Information is used to authenticate authorized users, personalize career research, compare job requirements with the candidate profile, generate application materials, maintain the application tracker, and secure and troubleshoot the service. LinkedIn information is not used for unrelated advertising.
AI processing and service providers
When an authorized user requests job matching, research, or document generation, relevant career and job information may be sent to the OpenAI API for processing. API requests are configured not to request storage by OpenAI. Hosting, email-delivery, security, LinkedIn, and OpenAI providers may process limited information only as needed to provide their services and under their own applicable terms.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not publish the candidate profile or application workspace. Information is shared only with the authorized user, service providers needed to operate the application, when the user directs an application or message to be sent, or when required by law.
OAuth credentials and security
LinkedIn Client Secrets and access tokens, when configured, are encrypted on the server and are not displayed again in the browser. Access is restricted to authorized administrators. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained while it is needed for the private career workspace or until the authorized user or administrator removes it. Archived opportunities remain recoverable and are not deleted. An authorized user may request correction or permanent deletion through the site administrator. LinkedIn authorization can also be revoked from the user’s LinkedIn account settings; stored tokens will then no longer be used.
Cookies
The application uses essential WordPress authentication and security cookies. It does not use the private career data for third-party behavioral advertising.
Children
This professional career application is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the application, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top will identify the current version.
